Digital Benches

 Digital Benches is another local project in Merthyr Vale and Aberfan to create benches to encourage people to go outside, get exercise, socialise, stay dry and generally keep out of the Welsh weather.

 The folks building the benches are young people from the local area, with assistance from one of our members (Sam Holt).  After previous successes in places like Pontypridd, we are planning on building several in our local area. 

 We believe that involving local young people like this will ensure they feel a sense of pride in seeing them around the village, strengthening community spirit.
